Celebration

Today, our families came together to celebrate Preston turning 100 days old. The significance of the celebration is to bestow upon him our wishes that he will live 100 years (or more). Preston wore a silver longevity necklace and a silver anklet with bells that my mom gave him. Supposedly, the baby wears pants with fringes on the legs, as fringe sounds like years in Chinese, and we want him to live for many many years. The more fringes, the merrier.  However, I think Preston would've looked a little silly with fringes, so he wore a cute Polo romper instead. It worked out well because we got balloons to match, he was color coordinated with grandma, and his daddy wore Polo too (of course :).

We had lunch at the China Jade Chinese Restaurant in Gaithersburg. Thanks to Julie, Michael, and Jack for being photographers.

At the end of the day, Preston came out a little bit richer, & he knows it too. Look at that smile on the little guy's face..haha!
